Throughout the summer, there were persistent rumours about his next potential move after leaving Sevilla as a free agent, with some reports suggesting a strong interest from Ronaldo's Al-Nassr. Ramos was linked with a move to Al-Nassr, but that transfer failed to materialise. There was also speculation about a move to the MLS – but these talks also fizzled out.
