Los Blancos' reserve winger ran the show in a comfortable win for Carlo Ancelotti's men

Real Madrid started their La Liga winner's tour with aplomb, Brahim Diaz providing a delightful double as they battered struggling Granada 4-0. Carlo Ancelotti rotated his side heavily, with the title already sewn up, but still managed to draw an impressive showing out of a glut of reserves and backups as Madrid strolled to a win.

Granada looked the more expansive side early, and forced a neat save out of Thibaut Courtois, who impressed in his second straight La Liga start.

Los Blancos took the lead with their first real opportunity, Diaz cutting back for a darting Fran Garcia, who finished from close range to put his side ahead. Arda Guler doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time, finding the bottom corner off a Garcia pass.

Diaz added a wonderful third in the second half, curling one into the corner after a mazy run – his seventh league goal of the campaign. He bagged the fourth, too, sealing a comfortable win for a Madrid side whose attention is admittedly elsewhere for the time being.

  Made a couple of neat saves in his second straight La Liga start. He's working way back to full fitness.

  Lucas Vazquez (7/10):

  A solid all-round performance. Scampered up the wing, won his duels, and created a couple of good chances.

  Eder Militao (6/10):

  A tad unsteady at times – especially on the ball. Not quite at his best after suffering a serious knee injury.

  Antonio Rudiger (7/10):

  Relatively untroubled throughout. Marshalled space effectively and kept his side of the pitch quiet.

  Fran Garcia (8/10):

  Made some interesting runs down the left. Took his goal very well and assisted the second.

  Eduardo Camavinga (7/10):

  Added a bit of midfield bite, which was important in the frenetic early goings. Rarely beaten in one-on-ones, advanced the ball well.

  Dani Ceballos (7/10):

  Tidy in midfield, grabbed an assist – about as much as you can ask for a player who is probably surplus to requirements.

  Luka Modric (7/10):

  Floated around, played some neat passes, made a few defenders look silly. Classy, as ever.

  Arda Guler (8/10):

  Immensely effective when he had the ball, especially in the first half. Good to see him get on the scoresheet again.

  Magnificent throughout. Dribbled forward with regularity, took his goals wonderfully, passed at the right times. He's been a revelation since returning to the club.

  Always a presence, but not really clinical enough. Missed a couple of good chances.

  Came on, strolled around, pinged it about a bit.

  Mostly there to give Rudiger a rest.

  Carlo Ancelotti (7/10):

  Benched most of his usual starting XI, but it didn't really matter. Madrid were excellent throughout, and were good value for the win. Routine, comfortable, classy.
